Bar Rosina’s

Bar Rosina’s

Greenwich, CT

Grab me a cocktail, a bowl of carbs, and my best girlfriends, and I’m having the BDE ( Best Day Ever).  Put us at a table at Bar Rosina’s, make that cocktail the “Mezzatorre”, the bowl of carbs the “Spicy Rigatoni”, and suddenly it’s more than perfect. And yes, our table consisted of way more than just one drink and one dish…but we’ll get to that.

Per my boss’s recommendation, the girls and I took a field trip to Greenwich to try Bar Rosina’s, and the second we stepped inside, we knew it was the start of the perfect brunch. It’s aesthetic, dressed for the holidays, and filled with cozy corners- ideal for an overdue weekend debrief. They advertise: “Fresh pastas, crispy New York-style pizzas, and strong cocktails.” What more could a girl want?

We kicked things off with cocktails — espresso martinis, Hugo spritzes, mimosas…all the classics. The mocktail list was just as impressive, but it wasn't our vibe that day. Before we could even plan our order, a few dishes were sent over: prosciutto and fried mozzarella sticks that had me, a mozz stick hater, absolutely devouring them. Then, naturally, we ordered an app of our own — burrata on toasted filone with figs and brown butter. We were already full, but unfortunately for our stomachs, I fear we were just getting started.

For entrées, we ordered the chicken cutlet (yes, technically another appetizer, but whatever), the spicy vodka rigatoni, and the burger, which ended up being my personal favorite. It was a textbook-perfect smashburger: American cheese, pickles, onions, mayo, all thinly stacked on a potato bun and paired with skinny fries that disappeared by the handful. The pasta was creamy and flavorful. The chicken cutlet was perfectly crisp — not to mention twice the size of the plate. We cleared every single plate at record-breaking speed, accompanied by just a few more rounds of drinks.

The service was immaculate. Kind, attentive, and entirely tolerant of our high-maintenance, slightly loud table energy. Bar Rosina’s- if you're reading this- thank you again. The whole experience was the perfect mix of homey and upscale.

Immediately adding this to my Top Meals of 2025 and just in time for my year-end recap. I’ll see you there!
